Arsh (hemorrhoids or piles ) are located in the three rectal folds. The three folds as told here are three parts of the sphincter. They are  Pravahani ( which gives acontractile movement before defecation ), visarjini (which helps in excretion ) and samvarani (which helps in closing the orifice). This disease causes agonizing pain and suffering in the rectum and anus makes one’s life miserable. Hence the disease is named as Arsh.

Arshoghn vati is prepared by using very useful and famous ayurvedic herbs to cure Arsh(bleeding and non bleeding piles),  fissure , fistula, aganimandya and constipation. Arshoghn vati is helps to improve the blood circulation in the liver and that reduces the pressure on the veins and it reduces blood accumulation use of rectal veins and thus dries the piles.
